Pyrography Courses

This one day beginners pyrography course will teach you the first steps of pyrography and help you to find out if it is an art that you could love.

Whether you have tried it before, or have never picked up a pyrography iron, by the end of the day you will have a good knowledge of the art and you’ll feel comfortable to burn your own designs on wood.

You will come away with a finished pyrography piece on sycamore wood, roughly 8 x 8”. I will bring a selection of nature based designs for you to choose from, and show you how to transfer these on to wood, or you can bring your own as long as it’s 8 x 8” and relatively simple. 
You will not need to bring any materials with you, 
accept a packed lunch. 

Courses Run from 10AM to 4PM in either
Dansel Gallery or a workshop in South West Dorset.
